We know how important online safety is for children, and want you to know that MGA Entertainment has done everything possible to create MyePets.com™ as a fun and safe environment for your children to play online.
MyePets.com is a safe interactive virtual world designed specifically with the MyePets fan in mind. At MyePets.com your child can express her/himself, be creative, have fun and connect with friends. Interacting with a MyePet is a fun way to learn about individuality, responsibility, friendship, loyalty, sensitivity to others and much more.
Joining MyePets.com gives your child a unique opportunity to take care of their own MyePets.com pet, decorate a house and interact with other MyePets.com fans online.
Best of all, MyePets.com plush toys and styles are cool and hip, which kids love, but you can rest easy knowing that fitting in with the MyePets.com is a safe, nonviolent way to belong with the "cool kids."
To ensure your child's safety we've put the following safety measures in place:
- Members to MyePets.com are identified online by their MyePets.com character name, not their own name. The MyePets.com character name cannot have the same name as your child, and we have applied special filters to help prevent this. No personally identifiable information (names, email addresses, etc.) can be accessed through a MyePets.com character name.
- Members of MyePets.com communicate with each other by text messaging each other online through our MyePets.com PDA. All online text messaging options must be approved by you, the parent. MyePets.com has the following text messaging options in place:
- Canned Text: This option allows members to choose from predefined messages and greetings. This is the safest way to communicate with other MyePets.com members.
- No Text: This will completely disable the text messaging feature in MyePets.com. Your child will not be able to communicate with other members at all.
- We have a "bad word filter" in place to mitigate members from using bad words or alternated spellings which sound like bad words on MyePets.com.
- You and your child can instantly block any member from communicating with him/her and can report them directly to MyePets.com at http://www.mgae.com/epets_intl.asp.
- We have put together a list of rules for MyePets.com members to follow.

- Be respectful: No hurtful, offensive or threatening language is permitted.
- Your name, your age or hometown should not be in your MyePets.com character name.
- Myepets.com character names which contain bad words or alternate spellings which sound like bad words are not allowed. The MyePets.com character name or account will immediately be cancelled and the user may not be allowed to play any more. (Please note: If an account is cancelled anything associated with that account including all accumulated points, room décor, etc. may be permanently deleted).
